The Middle School at Minlaton District School caters for students in Grades 6-9.

​Students are divided into composite classes in the middle school.  In 2022 classes are divided into a Year 6/7 class, a Year 7/8 class and a Year 8/9 class.

​In Middle School students complete their studies with specialist teachers for each curriculum area.  Dedicated study areas for Technical Studies, Home Economics, Science and Art are provided.

​Students in the middle school also participate in personal interest classes in the second semester of each year.  Students select from a range of specialised subject areas and are grouped from years 6-9.  This allows students to develop their individual interests and create bonds with other

students across the middle school.
