A Governing Council works with the school principal to help guide the direction of the school. The council meets regularly, at least twice per term, to discuss priorities, review progress, and make key decisions that shape the school’s future. Members may also be involved in selecting a new principal, supporting school initiatives, or promoting the school in the community. The council focuses on big-picture governance such as setting the school’s vision, developing local policies, and reviewing improvement plans, while the principal manages day-to-day operations and provides educational leadership. Together, they share responsibility for ensuring the school continues to grow and serve its community effectively.
