School leaders represent and serve the student body of Minlaton District School by actively engaging in a range of duties, while at all times modelling positive conduct:

Expectations of duties of student leaders centre around ambassadorship for MDS at school and community functions or events. These co-curricula and extra-curricula duties require a commitment of time and highly developed personal organisation.

Wellbeing Leaders

Wellbeing Leaders serve the student body of Minlaton District School by actively engaging in a range of duties that foster a culture of kindness, compassion and empathy, while at all times modelling positive conduct. Wellbeing leaders would work closely with our other student leaders, Student Support Worker (Di) and other leadership staff in creating an environment where all students feel safe, supported, and empowered to develop of their own mental health and wellbeing.

House Leaders

House leaders organise participation in a range of activities which contribute to the House Shield; a friendly rivalry designed to enhance school spirit and a positive community culture. Activities include but are not limited to:

Athletics Carnival
Lunchtime competitions
Charity fundraisers
Cultural activities/events
Any other school events which enhance the inclusion and engagement of the MDS community and build school spirit.
